WHAT: Kids' Boutique, Junior League of Tallahassee's (JLT) signature project, is an event that assists economically challenged children in Leon County whose family cannot afford new school clothes. This annual program provides approximately 150 children with a variety of essentials needed to start their school year off right. Participants will receive new clothes, shoes, underwear, socks and a backpack full of school supplies.
WHEN: Sunday, July 22, 2007, 6:15 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.
WHERE: JC Penney - Governors Square Mall location
PHOTO OP: Children shopping for back to school clothes and school supplies with local community leaders and JLT members.
Note: We will have media release forms signed by the children's guardians. Children and families available to the media will be identified with a green dot on their name tags.

New Board of Directors and Committee Chairs
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (July 11, 2007) - The Junior League of Tallahassee announced today the appointment of its new Board of Directors and committee chairpersons for the 2007-2008 fiscal year. Overseeing the board of directors and the organization as president is Tammy Brockmeier and as president-elect is Pam Edwards (also tasked with the role of chair of Ways & Means).
