In 2008, the JLT forged a new partnership to serve foster children living at the Tallahassee Campus of Florida Baptist Children's Homes. JLT members mentor children ages five to 18, provide monthly meals and activities, and collect clothing, school supplies and other necessities to distribute throughout the year.
